Koenigsegg Jesko Teased In A Instagram Video

Sweden carmaker has revealed in 2019 during the Geneva Motor Show the amazing Koenigsegg Jesko brings a 1,600-horsepower vehicle delivered by twin-turbo 5.0-liter V8 coupled to the nine-speed seven-clutch gearbox dubbed the Light Speed Transmission (LST). This way, Koenigsegg Jesko is a road-legal, track-capable weapon.

The Sweden carmaker plans to sell at least 125 units in 14 days of its Swiss debut. If you need more information about the future Jesko model, Koenigsegg published a video showing a pair of prototypes in a test track/runway adjacent to its factory and the drivers are taking full advantage of their possibilities on a track.

The prototypes show a 300-mph speed but still, there is no precise track performance. It shows an RML Short Wheelbase larger with a carbon fiber body, stacked rear lights, exposed fuel filler, front grille, and air vents behind each wheel and on the hood that has been reimagined. The interior still remains a mystery, since none were made public but we know that the interior features "exquisitely-trimmed" electrically adjustable seats, satellite navigation, air conditioning, cupholders, and smartphone connectivity.

The Restomod version is powered by a naturally-aspirated 5.5-liter V12 engine from the 550 Maranello and delivers a 478 horsepower and 568 Newton-meters of torque sent directly to the rear wheels coupled to a six-speed manual gearbox. Imagine an acceleration from 0-60 mph in 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 185 mph (297 km/h).

More details will be revealed later, still, it’s made published that the deliveries of the RML Short Wheelbase start in the last quarter this year, with production limited to just 30 examples. We could expect the new reimagined RML Ferrari 250 GT will go on sale way before 2023.
