Kia Stinger Is Making A Comeback As A 600 HP Halo Car. Is That So?

Rumors are swirling that the Kia Stinger could make a comeback as an electrifying all-electric ride, as per a South Korean publication's exclusive reports.

According to ETNews, Hyundai has the specs all figured out for their new drivetrains and batteries. These babies will probably be used in over 30 electric vehicles that Hyundai plans to release by 2030. The report doesn't actually say "Stinger," but it does talk about a car called the Kia GT1 that's supposed to come out in 2025.

So, basically, the battery can hold up to 113.2 kWh, and how fast it goes depends on which dual-motor setup you pick. According to available information, the GT1 model is set to be equipped with either a dual 160 kW motor system for both front and rear axles or a front 200 kW motor paired with a rear 250 kW motor system.

The E-GMP platform under consideration boasts a purported range of 438 to 500 miles, while the dual-motor configuration in question can deliver a maximum power output of 620 horsepower. The air is thick with speculation, but only time will reveal the truth.
