Imagine The New Corvette Z06 With 9,000 RPM And 616 HP

Despite the plenitude of the V12 engines on the car market, Chevrolet is the manufacturer who still can create a Corvette with the world's most powerful V8. We are talking about the new Chevrolet Corvette Z06. Attractive, powerful, and eye-catching, the Z06 brings more details to maintain your curiosity up to date.

Even if Chevrolet would bring a faster car on the market, like the rumored electric vehicle E-Ray, fans still are patiently waiting for the next Z06. Especially in the US, the Corvette is loved for its lighter and good-looking body combined with the powerful engine under the hood. Promoted for its powerplant, now there are more rumored details to it.

The Australian Wheels magazine, confirmed that the Z06 will be one of the few Corvette to feature an engine without pushrods. The first one was the C4 ZR1. Rumors say that this Z06 could host Cadillac's Blackwing 4.2-liter V8. If this will happen, we can assure you that it'll be an epic car.

The report also talks about an engine without the Blackwing turbos, but as long as it's built with different cylinder heads and a flat-plane crank, nobody will miss them. Imagine a striking 9,000 rpm and add the possibility of a powerful normally-aspirated V8 delivering at least 616 horsepower. That where the Z06 heart is in!

The engine should also be coupled to an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic for lightning-fast shifts. For the standard model, you get an electronic limited-slip differential that will help manage the power. Also, there's more to it - an upgraded suspension, quicker steering, wider wheels wrapped in Michelin Cup rubber, and a wider track. You can even choose the optional carbon-ceramic brakes and carbon fiber wheels.

For better accommodation on the road, you will have a wider track upgrade. Along with the broader bodywork, and the redesigned aerodynamics, the Corvette Z06 promises to be the fastest Vette ever. Start making trip plans because this Corvette will get you as far and as fast as possible to any destination.
