Honda Super Cub 50 Gets A Stylish Send-Off With Final Editions

Honda is phasing out small-displacement motorcycles to keep up with stricter emissions standards and the rise of electric alternatives, marking the end of an era for the iconic Super Cub 50. But Honda’s not letting this little legend fade away without a fitting farewell: meet the Final Edition and the ultra-exclusive Hello Kitty Edition.

The Super Cub 50 Final Edition goes full nostalgia with a White and Bonnie Blue finish that evokes the look of classic Super Cubs. Silver and chrome accents, a retro two-tone seat, and vintage-inspired badging pay homage to the original C50 that hit the streets back in 1966.

A special Honda 50 Final Edition emblem graces the front, and it even includes a unique key and rear carrier. Priced at ¥270,000 (around $1,765), Honda is keeping this model exclusive with only 2,000 units available.

Underneath, you’ll find the same compact 49cc engine that pushes out a modest 3.6 hp and 2.8 lb-ft of torque—just enough to keep this timeless ride cruising. Fans can also choose the Super Cub 50 Hello Kitty Edition. Celebrating Hello Kitty’s 50th birthday, this limited edition is capped at just 300 units and comes in at ¥300,000 ($1,961).

Other details include cat-inspired side covers, vibrant custom instrumentation, and Hello Kitty-themed touches, such as a unique seat. Both editions share the same powertrain, but Honda will also be offering a slightly stronger Super Cub 110, powered by a 109cc engine churning out 7.9 hp and 6.4 lb-ft of torque.
