Ford Is Making A Commitment To Deliver Enhanced Driving Experience With The Mustang

Ford's latest announcement at the Detroit Auto Show promises new experiences for Mustang owners in 2024. They're going above and beyond to improve the Mustang ownership experience with a variety of one-of-a-kind services.

Ford is committed to creating a strong sense of community among Mustang fans. First, they're collaborating with the Ford Performance Racing School to give expert training to Mustang owners. 

Now, let's speak about the Mustang GTD and its Drag Reduction System (DRS). This method is all about maximizing speed and grip. It has a sophisticated reconfigurable rear wing and distinctive underbody flaps that adapt to make the car more aerodynamic depending on the performance circumstances.

Greg Goodall, the GTD's lead program engineer, notes that every design component of the GTD has a functional purpose, improving cooling, aerodynamics, and downforce. During steep corners, the DRS does something extremely cool: it shuts down the primary wing element and flap to boost rear downforce, increasing stability without sacrificing speed.

The front underbody of the automobile is intended for effective air evacuation, providing reduced pressure that functions like suction to increase stability. In summary, the Mustang GTD's aerodynamics are perfectly optimized to give top-tier performance regardless of the conditions.
