It is thrilling to receive more information about the highly anticipated replacement for the Lamborghini Aventador, which is set to be unveiled soon. The new V12 supercar, codenamed Lamborghini LB744, will be equipped with a hybrid powertrain comprising a 6.5-liter combustion engine and three electric motors. While the V12 engine will generate 814 hp at 9,250 rpm and 535 lb-ft at 6,750 rpm, the electric motors will contribute to a total power output of 1,001 hp.

The all-wheel-drive system is designed with two electric motors powering the front wheels and a third motor supporting the V12 engine in driving the rear wheels. Lamborghini has also emphasized its focus on enhancing the car's driving dynamics.

The company's new hybrid all-wheel-drive supercar will include an electric torque vectoring system on its front e-axle, which will complement the four-wheel steering system of the Lamborghini LB744. Unlike other torque vectoring systems that rely on braking to slow down the inside wheels, Lamborghini's advanced system will only engage the brakes when it is truly necessary, ensuring a more organic driving feel and increased performance.

To make the most of the new Lamborghini supercar's capabilities, the company has introduced 13 selectable "driving experiences" and three new driving modes. The hybrid settings available include Recharge, Hybrid, and Performance, while the City, Strada, Sport, and Corsa modes can be selected through a separate control. Citta mode is specifically designed for fuel-efficient driving, utilizing battery power for zero-emissions operation. This mode offers a maximum power output of 178 hp.

On the other hand, Sport mode offers more power, improved agility, and a highly responsive gearbox. In Recharge mode, the V12 engine is constantly running to recharge the battery in just a few minutes, similar to a range extender. The Corsa mode is designed to highlight the Lamborghini LB744's capabilities on the track and maximize its performance and sound output. If you switch to Performance mode, you will get the full power output of 1015 bhp. Advanced drivers also have the option to turn off the ESC completely.
