Felicity Ace Ship Carrying 4,000 Luxury Automobiles Goes Down To The Depths Of The Ocean

Almost 4,000 Volkswagen Group automobiles were on the Felicity Ace when it went up in flames in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean two weeks ago. A 2022 Porsche 718 Spyder done in Frozen Berry Metallic, commissioned by renowned Youtube star Matt Farah, was one of the cars on the ship.

Although the staff was successfully taken from the ship, firemen were unable to extinguish the fire, which had been fueled by the lithium-ion batteries in the EVs on board. A tugboat was trying to tow Felicity Ace back to port, but the ship's management company has just issued a press release stating that it sank 220 nautical miles off the coast of Portugal's Azores.

"MOL Shipmanagement Singapore, the managers of the Felicity Ace, are continuing to make every effort to contain the damage and resolve the situation as the main priority," the company stated.

The damages are huge. Nearly 4,000 automobiles, including 189 Bentleys, lots of Porsches, and more than a dozen Lamborghinis, were identified aboard the ship. According to preliminary estimates, the total cost might reach as much as $335 million.

Farah has already stated that Porsche would build him a new Boxster Spyder. A Porsche store in Orlando acknowledged that six automobiles were on board, including a Cayenne Hybrid that had been requested by a salesman. The Lamborghini Aventador was nearing the end of its production run, but the Italian company may be forced to resume production.

There is now no hope of saving a single car. With so many automobiles now resting at the bottom of the ocean, the Felicity Ace ship sinking will undoubtedly have a tremendous environmental effect, in addition to the immense economic losses.
