Failed Tesla Cybertruck Heist: Delaware Thief's Botched Attempt

So, а thief in Delaware decided to tаke on a Tesla Cybertruck, аnd well, it went about as well as you'd imagine. Recently, this wannabe carjacker thought he could outsmart one of the most secure EVs out there. Spoiler alert: he couldn't.

Here's the scoop: Delaware State Police shared details about this bold but misguided attempt to swipe the futuristic electric pickup. The thief managed to drive off, but little did he know, the owner could track the truck's GPS from their app. Talk about a rookie mistake, right?

This guy, Corey Cohee from Milford, didn't get far. After realizing the cops were on his tail thanks to the quick GPS tracking, he ditched the truck and tried to run. But soon enough, he figured out he was cornered and gave up without a fuss. He's now facing a handful of charges, including vehicle theft and ignoring a police officer's orders.

And where was this high-tech Cybertruck found? Just chilling on a dirt road less than a mile away from the scene of the crime.

You might wonder, how did he even get the truck started? Turns out, the owner must've been close by with the key card. These trucks aren't just tough to break into, with their bullet-resistant panels and super tough windows, but they're also packed with tech that keeps them safe. The truck constantly sends its location via GPS, and if needed, Tesla can remotely disable it. Pretty neat, huh?

Failed Tesla Cybertruck Heist

Oh, and it’s not just about being secure. The Cybertruck's unique look—think sharp angles and a shiny stainless steel body—makes it pretty hard to hide. This isn't the first time a thief has tried and failed to make off with one. Even Elon Musk joked about its "apocalypse defense technology" after another failed theft attempt.

So yeah, trying to steal a Tesla Cybertruck? Not the brightest move. These trucks are nearly unstealable and built to withstand just about anything. Guess it goes to show, if it's tough enough for the apocalypse, a sneaky thief doesn't stand a chance.
