Ducati Promotes Customization With CR24I And RR24I Scramblers At London Show

The London Bike Shed MotoShow featured two designs inspired by the Ducati Scrambler. Ducati will manufacture the two versions to highlight the customizing options it offers. The CR24I, the first of the two designs, draws inspiration from vintage Café Racers.

Specifically, an old British ritual from the '60s, when riders would try to finish a loop around the block before a jukebox song ended, served as inspiration for the brand's Centro Stile design department, which brought it to life.

Stripes of red and white stand out against the off-white paint. The CR24I also features a removable cover for the passenger seat, 17-inch wheels, and a fairing fitted to the tank. Now let's talk about the second concept: the RR24I. In fact, the RR24I shares similarities with the Scrambler yet boasts a more robust look and enhanced off-road performance.

A distinctive mudguard rests atop a set of wheels that are both stylish and equipped with grippy Pirelli Scorpion Rally tires. Ducati left the frame exposed, making it easy to link to a compact backpack. Another option for a baggage rack is to eliminate the passenger seat area.

In addition to a Termignoni exhaust and repurposed empty jerry cans, Centro Stile Ducati has customized the bike. Tom Fuller, a member of Image Design Custom, also live-painted a Scrambler at last weekend's London Bike Shed MotoShow to honor the company's historic customizing work.
