Did You Ever Imagine Bugatti's First EV Would Be An 18 MPH Electric Scooter?

An 18 mph electric scooter is Bugatti's first electric vehicle, although the company is well renowned for its speed-breaking hypercars. The unusual vehicle is the product of a collaboration between the French brand, which is currently owned by Croatian electric hypercar company Rimac, and Bytech International, a New York-based e-scooter company.

Bytech created and manufactured the scooter, which has been given a thorough transformation in the manner of Bugatti's hypercars. There are three speed levels on the Bugatti scooter: Economy (9 mph), City (12.5 mph), and Sport (18.5 mph).

The Bugatti scooter has a range of 22 miles and is driven by a 36v, 10ah (0.36 kWh) battery. The battery may be charged either while attached to the scooter or by removing it and plugging it in. On a domestic US power outlet, a full charge takes around 4 hours.

The frame of the scooter is built of magnesium alloy, weighs 16 kg, and folds up for easy transport. A huge LED display that indicates speed, mode, and battery light, as well as headlight settings. Loads up to 110 kg may be carried by the Bugatti's scooter, which has run-flat tires of 9 inches.

A variety of design elements have been added to the scooter. Dual turn signals with indicators on the handle grips and rear mudguard, as well as lighted base lights on the side, are included. Also, there is a projection badge for the 'EB' symbol, as well as rear E-ABS anti-lock brakes. The Bugatti scooter is currently only available in the United States, and no price information has been released.
