When you chose to express your sincere less good opinions towards a celebrity you might get the fans' negative reactions including abuse, death threats, and constant negative reactions. Can you believe that the car industry is no exception from this matter? Sergio Rodriguez, owner of a Tesla Model X and A Ford Mustang Mach-E, following in Musk's shoes of issues around social media.

So, as you can imagine, their real war harassment going on Twitter and Facebook between both parties. It seems that Tesla fans are very much focused on abusing verbally the Ford Mustang Mach-E's fans. So, how did the war started?

Well, the story is simple. Rodriguez, owning both models wanted to express online his opinions towards electric vehicles. His opinions mostly were a pure intention to post about their benefits. So, when he had the guts to declare a negative thought on Tesla, he started to feel what it's like to have experience with the  Tesla fans online.

Rodrigues is a fan of electric vehicles, and after he posted about his cross-country trip in a Mustang Mach-E, Tesla fans started spreading rumors that Ford would be paying him for such a positive review. Nicknaming Tesla's fans as "fanbois" Sergio and twisted on April 3, he admitted about the death threats he received and said that Tesla is actually a "cult"..

Despite the constant tweets online about the broken situation with Tesla, Rodriguez is stunned by the fan's stubborn point of view for calling out to a recent problem with Tesla. Starting as vague death threats, the situation got a dangerous turn when his video with the opinion about the Mach-E was posted on the Tesla Owners Worldwide Facebook group. That's when he realized that this could become a real life-threatening situation. It even escalated to private messages.

This story reached Ford Spokesperson Mark Levine who expressed his sympathy towards the situation. Now there will be a new wave of #metoo only this time it'll be about threats for expressing your opinions about a vehicle.
