Stellantis' future STLA electric vehicle platform will be the foundation for Chrysler to deliver next-generation infotainment technologies to the North American market. In addition to autonomous technology, this will also contain huge infotainment displays that take up the whole dashboard.

This week at CES 2023 in Las Vegas, the carmaker is demonstrating this technology in a two-seater cockpit design. Chrysler claims that its infotainment system, which makes use of cutting-edge AI technology, will gradually adapt to the individual tastes of its owners.

Meanwhile, the "STLA Brain" will be able to get upgrades to its software wirelessly from the car's manufacturer over time so that it remains cutting-edge and engaging. Additionally, the technology will power a digital assistant that can coordinate every element of its owner's schedule.

Chrysler claims this assistant may function both in and out of the vehicle, using information from the user's schedule to provide suggestions on where to park and charge a vehicle, as well as provide access to smart home devices and help with online shopping.

Level three autonomous driving will be available, according to the carmaker, thanks to the STLA platform. This will be made possible by STLA AutoDrive technology. In contrast, the cockpit's design uses eco-friendly components, including recycled plastics, suspended seats that are vegetable-tanned, and no chrome at all.

At CES, attendees will get a taste of what it's like to be a future Chrysler owner, complete with a "welcome" that creates an intelligent route for the day, controls autonomous driving, manages the charge status, and handles parking. In addition to the autonomous driving experience, attendees may try out the car's "Chill," "Zen," and "Fun" modes, which allow them to relax, meditate, and have fun while making music.
