The American V8 sports star - the CT5-V Blackwing is a sedan built to bring joy to people. This is one of the fewest vehicles that can vaporize with elegance its tires. Its engine delivers 668  horsepower is channeled to the rear wheels, coupled to a six-speed manual transmission. The new trend for inspiring a concept from other models, Cadillac found his Mercedes-AMG muse when it comes to building its engines.

Driving a CT5-V Blackwing is more than the stated 668 hp - this a unique piece of handcrafted art, because its 6.2-liter supercharged V8 was built by hand, by one single person. Along with the documents for the car, you will get the information about who plunged the pistons into the block and bolted on the blower. Each LT4 bears the name of the handyman (man or woman) who assembled it.

Usually, for mass production, the LT4 engine obviously built on the assembly line at Performance Build Center in Kentuky. Now, that  only one GM uses this type of engines Cadillac. The work volume makes it possible to assign one builder for each engine. The information about the builder will be engraved on a plaque consisting with the builder's name. Remebre that it's an assembly line both women and men assemble the engines.

Similar single handsbuild engine is used for the R35 Nissan GT-R and some for the Mercedes' AMG models. Also, there the 4.2-liter Blackwing V8 also having engraved the handbuilder's name on a plaque. Such an unique engine will rise the price up to the $90,000 and you're also getting a stick shift sedan.

Remember that If you'll hurry to order until the late summer of 2021, if it won't be delayed due to other factors or other prioritized projects, your CT5-V Blackwing will arrive at your dealership in fall.
