Bombardier Recreational Products Incorporation, (BRP)  - another manufacturer of snowmobiles, all-terrain vehicles, motorcycles made a promise to its customers that it would offer electric vehicles by the end of 2026. The Canadian manufacturer is very optimistic and the customers are ready to enjoy riding them.

To reach this goal on such short notice, the company is ready to invest over $300 million during a period of five years for "product development, specialized equipment, infrastructure, production tooling, and facilities. No details were yet revealed, but the first model would arrive within two years.

This means that it would be followed rapidly by a "rapid roll-out across all product lines" and these prove their determination factor towards reaching the goal within terms out of respect for their customers. The fans are eager to see the electric version of the Sea-Doos and Can-Ams or the electric version of the Lynx and Ski-Doo snowmobiles.

The little details shared were that the EVs will use the  Rotax modular electric powerpack technology developed with the assistance of a development center in Canada that specializes in electric vehicles particularly. The BRP EVs will feature "state-of-the-art equipment including several sophisticated test benches and dynamometers, plus an ultramodern cell for electric batteries."

The revealed images are the EV concepts of the Sea-Doo personal watercraft, Can-Am Ryker, and a slick electric motorcycle. Also, BRP CEO José Boijoli hopes that for them the electrification of the brand was more a question of "when" and the time has come to embrace the future technologies.
