Bespoke Royal Enfield Meteor 350: Meteor By Title And Essence

Royal Enfield Meteor 350, which debuted in 2021, marked the beginning of a new era for the Indian motorcycle manufacturer. While the name and appearance of the small vehicle are based on the original Meteor, the 349cc single, a Euro 5-compliant and Tripper navigation system are entirely new.

With a $4,399 price tag, you've got a platform that's perfect for riders who want to customize their trip. Ironwood Motorcycles had that very situation in mind when it received a brand-new Meteor 350 into its Amsterdam shop. The custom shop set out to entirely change the tiny cruiser into an intimidating character while keeping the cost of customization low.

Arjan van den Boom of Ironwood understood the job would be difficult, but the Meteor 350 provided a solid foundation for the designer's project. Van der Boom keeps the double-cradle frame and simple motor, but he takes Enfield's looks in a very another way. Royal Enfield Meteor 350 has an aggressive look thanks to its shorter fenders, single floating seat, and supercross handlebars. The fork legs, fork gaiters, and bar-end mirrors are all darkened to complete the aspect.

Ironwood, on the other hand, equips the cast wheels with Continental TKC semi-knobby tires and YSS dual rear shocks. The bespoke Royal Enfield Meteor 350 wouldn't survive long on the track, but the hefty components help to elevate the cruiser's status. The project also features a bespoke exhaust with an Akrapovic silencer and Kellerman lights, but the paintwork takes the crown.

Van den Boom gives the tins to Royal Kustom Works for a cosmic makeover, living up to the Meteor title. The Royal Enfield insignia blazes a comet path across the gas tank, while the side panels are adorned with a starfield. The 2021 Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is a gorgeous cruiser straight from the dealership, but Ironwood Motorcycles shows that even on a tight budget, riders can customize it.
