Ferrari's recent financial report for the first half of 2023 highlights a significant surge in hybrid car deliveries, accounting for 43 percent of total deliveries in the second quarter. Compared to the same time in 2022, this is a big jump—more than twice!

During Q2 of this year, the Ferrari lineup consisted of nine vehicles with internal combustion engines and four hybrids. Overall sales, combining ICE and hybrids, saw a 4 percent rise, totaling 6,959 units in the first half of the year, an increase of 253 cars compared to the same period in 2022.

Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, proved to be Ferrari's largest market region, with 3,172 cars delivered. The Americas followed with 1,831 units, and the Asia-Pacific region accounted for 1,221 cars. Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan rounded up the deliveries with 735 cars.

The 296 GTB, Roma, and Portofino M were popular models that drove sales during Q2 of 2023. Additionally, Ferrari increased deliveries of the 296 GTS and 812 Competizione A convertibles during the same period and successfully delivered the first Purosangue SUVs to their eager owners. The automaker also allocated more units of the Daytona SP3, part of the planned 599 cars set for production.

Ferrari

The carmaker plans to offer both internal combustion engines and hybrids in its future lineup. The next hypercar is set to premiere in 2024, featuring a downsized engine, possibly a V8 or even a V6. Notably, a V12 engine will continue to power the Purosangue exclusively.

Ferrari plans to unveil its first-ever electric vehicle in 2025, with CEO Benedetto Vigna promising a car that delivers a truly unique driving experience. This will mark a significant milestone in Ferrari's journey towards a greener and more technologically advanced future.
