Seems like these gorgeous animals are pretty fond of expressing their joy meeting someone else by licking the entire car. Literally.
Is it for your car's safety or the moose's health?
Apparently it is a concern for both sides. The cars have salt on them, and moose likes salt, and if they lick cars they will not run away from cars. On the highway, this is dangerous. The outcome is that instead of just hitting them, you might end up getting crushed by them.
They are adorable, but still, you need to be aware of the possibility of dangers. Instead of the romantic encounter in the video above, you might end up worse than in the situation below. Be safe.
