When your mind flies away, your car's needs tend to be forgotten. However, a car is much more than just a means of transportation.

When there is something wrong with it, it might turn into a very dangerous item. Unfortunately, there are many silly ways to wreck your car. Here are the main mistakes people do and you should avoid in order to keep your car safe.

The silliest ways to wreck your car:

1)The parking brake

Some drivers believe the parking brake is an optional thing and don't want or will not use it properly.

2)Shifting into reverse while still moving

This is one of the most common mistakes that can wreck your car. Doing this will defect the gear and you will not be able to shift gears anymore.

3)Not changing the oil

If a proper level of oil isn't maintained, then the metal friction might cause some serious problems.

4)Pressure wash of the engine

The pressure used in this kind of washing is very high and makes the water get into some closed and hidden modules, where precious electronic details are preserved.

5)Not starting the car properly

If you have connected your AC, you should turn it off when you start the car.

6)Not paying enough attention to the sounds coming out your car

It is very often when the car lets us know that there is something wrong with it through different noises. Any noise, from the engine to exhaust and brakes, should be taken into consideration.

7)Not caring enough about your car's interior

Not throwing away your trash and letting it rot inside your car will eventually produce a very unpleasant smell that will be very difficult to get rid of.

8)Driving until your fuel tank is empty

The fuel inside the tank helps the fuel pump cool down. Driving from zero fuel to zero fuel will not save you money, in spite of you believing that, but it might cause some serious issues.

9)Not paying attention to leakages

No fluid should come out of the car; that is a rule. If you do notice something coming out of it, then you should check your car at a professional car service. Also, learn the colors of the fluids, so that based on what is leaking, you know how to act.

10)Not paying attention to the Check Engine light

Some computer controls are broken if such a light turns on your screen. You should definitely do what it says and have the car checked.

11)Not using the engine coolant

The cooling system is very important and helps the car stay away from overheating.

12)Not asking for help at professionals

Even if you are Google master and believe that every problem has a Google solution, you should definitely have a mechanic on your speed dial. He will know what to do with your car better than any Google website.
