Subaru Marks 15 Years Of The BRZ With A 300-Car Special Edition

Subaru is giving the BRZ and WRX a little birthday treatment. At Boxerfest 2026, the company revealed two special editions celebrating 15 years of the BRZ and 25 years of the WRX. Neither gets a wild power upgrade, but both come with their own look and a handful of hardware changes.
The BRZ ZC15 is the more nostalgic of the two. Its name comes from the “ZC” chassis code used by the first-generation BRZ.

It gets Ceramic White paint, bronze graphics and matte bronze wheels, with gold-painted Brembo calipers tucked behind them. There’s also a black rear spoiler and a flexible V-bar under the hood.
Inside, black leather seats with red inserts and an anniversary plaque near the shifter finish off the special-edition treatment.
Underneath, it’s business as usual. The 2.4-liter naturally aspirated boxer makes 228 hp and 184 lb-ft (249 Nm) of torque, with a six-speed manual sending power to the rear wheels. Subaru plans to build only 300 examples, with deliveries starting early next year.

The WRX GD25 is a bit more serious. It wears World Rally Blue and sits on gold 19-inch wheels with Potenza S007 tires. The Brembo brakes are upgraded, while a strut tower bar, carbon-fiber rear wing, and tuned suspension give it a few extra performance-focused touches.
The cabin gets Recaro seats with black Ultrasuede and red stitching, plus an STI shift knob.

The turbocharged 2.4-liter boxer remains untouched, producing 271 hp and 258 lb-ft. It sends power through a six-speed manual and Subaru’s symmetrical all-wheel-drive system. Production is limited to 350 cars, with deliveries due in summer 2027.
