The 1,560-HP Rezvani Beast X Makes The Corvette ZR1X Look Tame

The Corvette has never needed much help looking fast. Rezvani clearly disagrees. With the Beast X, the company takes the C8 platform, adds serious hybrid muscle, and turns it into a 1,560-hp machine that makes even Chevrolet’s wildest Corvette look relatively tame.

Rezvani already sells the Beast, a heavily modified C8 with up to 1,000 hp. The Beast X follows the same formula, but the recipe gets much more extreme. This time, the car appears to use the E-Ray as its starting point, which means an electric motor can drive the front wheels while a 6.2-liter V8 sits behind the cabin.

That engine shares its basic displacement with the regular E-Ray, but Rezvani has little interest in keeping things standard. Two turbochargers push output to 1,560 hp and 1,280 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed dual-clutch transmission sends all that muscle to the road.

For some perspective, Chevrolet’s Corvette ZR1X makes 1,250 hp from its twin-turbo V8 and front electric motor. Rezvani claims the Beast X can reach 60 mph in just 1.9 seconds. That puts it 0.6 seconds ahead of the previous Beast and even gives the E-Ray a serious reality check.

The exterior tells you immediately that this Corvette has gone far beyond a normal body kit. Rezvani wraps the car in carbon fiber and covers it with huge aerodynamic pieces. The front bumper gets massive air openings, while canards and aggressive fender vents give it a track-focused look. Large intakes sit behind the scissor-style doors, and a roof snorkel adds another unusual touch.

The rear goes even further. One spoiler apparently wasn’t enough, so Rezvani fitted two separate hoop-shaped wings. A massive diffuser sits underneath, while twin exhaust outlets poke through the center of the rear bumper. Inside, the company gives the cabin a full makeover and replaces the familiar steering wheel with a yoke.

All that hardware comes with a high price. Rezvani wants $385,000 for the standard Beast, while the Beast X adds another $115,000. That brings the total to around $500,000.

Chevrolet’s ZR1X costs less than half that, even with the ZTK Track Pack and Carbon Fiber Aero Package. The Rezvani has one advantage that money alone can’t buy, though. Only five Rezvani Beast X examples will exist.
