DS F3VER Concept Previews A Bold New Look For The DS 3
by AutoExpert | 12 October, 2026
DS Automobiles has a new concept, and it certainly knows how to get attention. Called the F3VER, it made its debut at the Paris Motor Show with a design that looks nothing like the brand’s current production cars. The name plays on the word “fever,” but there’s plenty more going on than a catchy badge.
With unusual lighting, contrasting blue bodywork and a wide, muscular stance, the F3VER offers a glimpse of what DS might have planned for its next generation of cars.

The F3VER doesn’t do subtle. Up front, a dark blue panel frames the glowing DS badge and sharp, Y-shaped headlights, while a silver accent adds contrast to the bumper. The roof gets its own silver outline, and the blue-tinted windows make the whole thing look even more unusual. At the back, the paint switches to a darker blue, paired with geometric wheels and another central design feature. It’s a daring mix, but somehow it all comes together.

At 4.19 meters long, the F3VER is about the same length as a Renault Clio, but it’s much wider at 1.84 meters. That gives it a chunky, planted stance you don’t often see on a small hatchback. The 2.7-meter wheelbase and 400-liter boot also suggest there’s room for everyday life, not just bold styling. DS hasn’t shown the cabin yet, so we’ll have to wait and see if it’s as daring as the outside.

For now, DS describes the F3VER as a preview of its future design direction, with a focus on personalization and flexibility. That makes the next-generation DS 3 a possible candidate to borrow some of its ideas, although the company hasn’t confirmed any direct connection. A production model inspired by the concept could give buyers more freedom to choose colors, finishes, and details that suit their taste.

The F3VER is still full of unanswered questions, but DS has at least given us something to talk about. The bold colors and unusual design make it stand out, and we're curious to see how much of that attitude survives when the concept becomes a real car.
