From Vacuums To Hypercars: Dreame Moves Fast Into Autos
by AutoExpert | 5 May, 2026
Have you noticed how some brands show up out of nowhere and suddenly act as if they’ve always been part of the car world?
That’s Dreame right now. Not long ago, it was known in China for vacuum cleaners. Then it made a sharp move into cars, launching three separate brands at once. Nebula Next, Kosmera, and Star Motors. Each one pushing out its own concepts like this is already a mature lineup.

This latest one comes from Star Motors. Earlier this year, the brand showed the T08 and T08L, a pair of boxy off-roaders that looked almost identical to Dongfeng’s M817 and M917. There was also the D09, a luxury SUV that clearly borrowed ideas from the Rolls-Royce Cullinan. So the direction here is pretty clear.
The new concept debuted at the Beijing Auto Show. Up front, there’s a huge grille, similar to the Kosmera concept shown at CES, just more aggressive, paired with sharp LEDs and large air intakes.

From the side, it gets more interesting. It uses rear suicide doors but removes the B-pillar entirely, creating one large open space when both doors swing out. Some spy shots suggest the upcoming Genesis GV90 might try something similar. Around the back, details are still limited, but the window line hints at Bugatti-style cues.
There’s no word on the powertrain yet, assuming there’s even a working setup under it, but it will likely be fully electric like Dreame’s other concepts. For now, the bigger question is simple. Are these real future models, or just a series of ideas?
