Zeekr 8X Plug-In Hybrid SUV: Specs, Performance, and Release Date
by AutoExpert | 10 February, 2026
Zeekr is keeping the momentum going. After the 7X proved itself as a strong electric SUV, the brand is gearing up to launch the 8X.
The 8X comes in two versions: a standard model and a sportier one. The regular version looks a lot like the bigger 9X, with a chrome grille, sharp headlights, and a bold front bumper.

The sport version stands out with a black grille, black wheels, orange brake calipers, a roof spoiler, and a more aggressive rear diffuser. Both have full-width LED taillights.

Unlike the 7X, the 8X will be a plug-in hybrid. It pairs a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder engine with three electric motors and offers two battery sizes: 55 kWh and 70 kWh. The top model could push an insane 1,381 horsepower. The sport trim might just be a visual upgrade rather than extra power.

Inside, buyers can expect a high-quality cabin with plenty of screens and tech. There will be options for five- or six-seat layouts. Bottom line: Zeekr’s 8X is a high-tech, powerful SUV that looks sharp and packs serious hybrid performance.
