Renntech Mercedes C126 SEC V12 Sledgehammer Packs 660 HP
by AutoExpert | 9 February, 2026
Renntech is taking the classic Mercedes C126 SEC and turning it into a full-on V12 monster. The SEC V12 Sledgehammer nods to the old AMG Hammer models, but this one is pure modern madness.
Under the hood sits a reworked M120 V12, now 7.5 liters and pushing 660 hp with 650 lb-ft of torque. Custom headers mean it sounds as mean as it looks, and power goes to the rear wheels for that proper old-school feel.

Only 12 will be made, each with a wider, more aggressive body, a new hood, sculpted quarter panels, and bespoke forged wheels over beefy brakes. The rear gets a diffuser and a bold spoiler, making the car look faster standing still.

Inside, Renntech is leaving the cabin up to the buyer - anything from leather and Alcantara to fully wild, custom layouts. The first Sledgehammer rolls out in 2027, and while prices aren’t public yet, this is clearly a halo car for collectors who want power, style, and pure Mercedes nostalgia.
