Roush Reveals Its First Ram 1500, With A Supercharger On The Way
by AutoExpert | 14 July, 2026
Ford fans know the Roush name well, but this latest build starts with a Ram instead. After a short teaser campaign, the company has officially revealed its newest pickup project: the Ram Direct Connection by Roush.
The package starts with a 2027 Ram 1500 Big Horn Crew Cab 4×4 powered by the 5.7-liter naturally aspirated Hemi V8. The engine produces 395 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque, with another 130 lb-ft available at launch thanks to the eTorque system. The Roush package costs $15,995, bringing the total price to $78,960, including the truck.

Most of the changes focus on capability and appearance. Roush fits its own Performance coilover suspension, 18-inch wheels, and 33-inch General Tire Grabber A/TX tires. A new active cat-back exhaust gives the Hemi a deeper sound through black exhaust tips, while adjustable valves let drivers quiet things down for longer highway trips.

The Roush Ram 1500 Direct Connection also gets functional hood vents with graphics, wider fender flares with clearance lights, a red RAM grille badge, unique Roush badging, and American flag graphics on the bed. Other upgrades include a 3.92 rear axle, an ELocker, skid plates, a trailer brake controller, and an available Trailer Tow Package. Inside, the changes are modest, with Roush floor mats and a few branded details.

A three-year, 36,000-mile warranty backs every Roush part. Better yet, the company has already confirmed a supercharger kit is on the way. If the naturally aspirated Hemi wasn't enough, it sounds like Roush has bigger plans for this Ram.
