2027 Lamborghini Urus Performante SE Packs 801 HP And Hits 194 MPH

For a while, it looked like the Performante badge had disappeared from the Urus family. Lamborghini has now brought it back with hybrid power and a record output figure. The new Urus Performante SE takes the regular hybrid Urus and turns it into the most powerful factory version yet.
Its twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 works with an electric motor inside the eight-speed transmission to produce 801 hp and 737 lb-ft of torque. That's enough for 0-62 mph in 3.3 seconds and 0-124 mph in 10.8 seconds. Top speed is 194 mph. Strangely, the old 657-hp Performante was just as quick to 62 mph, proving that extra power can't completely hide extra weight.

Lamborghini has tried to fight the kilos by cutting 70 lbs through more carbon fiber, a titanium exhaust, lighter brakes, and lighter cabin materials. Even then, the Performante SE weighs 5,452 lbs, a full 712 lbs more than the old model. At least the battery gives it up to 37 miles of WLTP electric range for those moments when 801 hp feels unnecessary.

The chassis has received plenty of work, too. A new AURA dual-chamber air suspension cuts body roll by 55 percent and reduces comfort-related vibrations by 25 percent compared with the previous Performante. The track is 0.63 inches wider, while a new hood, larger cooling openings, taller rear spoiler, and massive rear diffuser help cut drag by 3 percent and increase downforce by 23 percent over the Urus SE.

Inside, there's more carbon fiber, a revised 12.3-inch display, new graphics, aviation-style controls, and a new Rally mode.

Lamborghini hasn't announced US pricing or an exact launch date yet, but the Urus Performante SE is expected to reach dealers around early 2027. The price may sit close to $300,000, but Urus buyers have never exactly been known for shopping on a budget.
