Ferrari Recall? It’s Just… Windows Too Dark
by AutoExpert | 23 March, 2026
If you were hoping for some big Ferrari drama, this isn’t it. Ferrari has a small issue with the Ferrari 12Cilindri in the US, but it’s pretty minor. Some cars ended up with windows that are too dark. The tint doesn’t comply with US regulations, so they need to be replaced. That’s really all it is.
Ferrari spotted it during pre-delivery checks earlier this month. After digging into it, they found that around 80 cars are affected, built between October 2024 and November 2025.

No complaints, no incidents. The cars are fine to drive. It’s just a compliance issue. Owners will be contacted from May 15, and dealers will swap the glass for the correct one. Straightforward fix.

The issue has already been sorted in production, so newer cars won’t have it. Everything else stays the same. It’s still a 6.5-liter V12 with 819 hp. Loud, fast, and exactly what you expect from a Ferrari.
