Chelsea Truck Company Unveils Heritage Remastered Ineos Grenadier

Chelsea Truck Company has taken the Ineos Grenadier and given it a serious nod to the past with its new “Heritage Remastered” program. Think of it as a time machine for your SUV.

The UK tuner has revamped both the exterior and interior, clearly drawing inspiration from classic Land Rover Defenders. One version features a green finish that evokes the 2015 Defender Heritage Edition. It pairs that with 20-inch alloy wheels styled like old-school steelies, flared fenders, rugged metal bumpers, and a white roof, giving the Grenadier a distinctly vintage vibe.

Up front, the Grenadier gets a Lattice Mesh grille inspired by the original 1940s Land Rovers. Behind the grille, new LEDs hide neatly, and the headlight surrounds have been refreshed too.

Chelsea Truck Company hasn’t stopped there. Another build draws from the 2008 Defender 110 SVX 60th Anniversary Edition. Using the Grenadier Fieldmaster Wagon as a base, this one rocks Inky Black paint with Volcanic Satin Silver accents on the grille, bumpers, door hinges, and wheels. Inside, you’ll find Old English Tan leather with quilted and perforated details—a classy throwback.

Under the hood, nothing has changed. Both Grenadiers keep the BMW-sourced 3.0-liter straight-six engines. In the black edition, that’s the B58 petrol engine putting out 282 hp and 450 Nm of torque, sent to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic.

Pricing for the Heritage Remastered Grenadier at Project Kahn’s showroom is £79,999 ($109,200). For comparison, a standard Fieldmaster Edition starts at £69,995 ($95,600), which means the Heritage upgrades cost around £10,000 ($13,700).

There are dashboard lights that can wait until the weekend. A low washer-fluid warning, for instance, is hardly a reason to abandon a grocery run. The red oil-can symbol is not one of those lights.
