Bugatti Just Built a $23,000 Bicycle… and It’s Wild

Bugatti is stepping into a very different space this time. Not another hypercar, not another speed record. A bike. But in true Bugatti fashion, it’s anything but ordinary.
The new Factor ONE was developed together with Factor Bikes, and the goal was simple. Make the fastest road bike allowed under UCI rules. Only 250 will be built, and it costs $23,599, so this is very much not your average weekend bike.

What makes it different is how seriously they treated it. This isn’t just a branded frame. They actually reworked the design from the ground up. The front fork is wider than usual to smooth airflow, the cockpit is fully integrated, and everything is designed to minimize drag. It looks a bit unusual at first, but there’s a reason for it.

The wheels are just as extreme. Carbon rims, super light, built for stiffness and stability, paired with special Continental tires that even get Bugatti’s signature blue on the side. It’s basically the bike version of lightweight hypercar wheels.

Then there’s the design. Two-tone paint, Bugatti blue details, and the “Dancing Elephant” badge, which is a nod to some of the brand’s older models. You’ll also notice exposed carbon everywhere, carbon brake parts, and even an Alcantara saddle. That last bit is straight out of the Bugatti Tourbillon interior playbook.

At the end of the day, it’s a bike built with the same mindset Bugatti uses for its cars. Light, fast, and a bit excessive. Exactly what you’d expect!
