2027 Hyundai Tucson Revealed With Full-Width Lights And A Bigger Body

Hyundai is giving the Tucson a completely new personality for 2027. Sharp angles, full-width lighting, and a larger body give the family SUV a strong presence, while the design takes inspiration from the recent Crater Concept. The global launch arrives in October.

The new Tucson measures 185 inches long and 75 inches wide, making it 2.3 inches longer and 1.5 inches wider than before. Its 109.6-inch wheelbase also gains 1.1 inches, creating more room inside.

Up front, a full-width LED light bar sits above vertical DRLs, a boxy bumper, and slim grilles. Hyundai has also previewed an XRT version with a tougher, more rugged design. The rear follows with another light bar and slim vertical taillights.

Inside, Hyundai introduces its new Pleos infotainment system with a centrally mounted, tablet-style display. The driver gets a slim digital gauge cluster and a four-spoke steering wheel, while the dashboard combines soft-touch materials with ambient lighting. The center console features wireless charging pads, and the longer body and roof add 1.1 inches of rear headroom.

Hyundai has kept the powertrain details for another announcement, with more information expected ahead of the global debut.
