2026 Suzuki Across Europe PHEV Packs 300 HP And AWD

Suzuki has just unveiled the new 2026 Across for Europe. This time, the Across leans heavily into Toyota RAV4 styling, looking almost identical to the RAV4 Adventure.
Suzuki skipped the Core and GR Sport trims, sticking with the rugged Adventure look. The reshaped grille also made it easier to fit the larger Suzuki emblem without disrupting the design.

Color options are simple: Massive Gray, Ever Rest, Super White, and Attitude Black. Inside, it’s basically a Toyota, just with a Suzuki badge on the wheel. Highlights include a 12.3-inch digital cluster, head-up display, 12.9-inch infotainment screen, five USB-C ports, and a full suite of driver-assist tech. The SUV is 181 inches long and rides on 18-inch dark gray wheels.

Under the hood, the Across is a plug-in hybrid only. It uses a 2.5-liter gas engine plus dual electric motors for a total of 300 hp, all sent to all four wheels via an E-CVT and E-Four system. Drivers get Normal, Eco, Sport, and Trail modes. On paper, 0-100 km/h comes in 6.1 seconds, slightly behind the RAV4’s 5.8 seconds.

The WLTP range hasn’t been announced yet. The new 2026 Suzuki Across debuted in the Netherlands and will reach more European markets later this year. Pricing is still under wraps. It will compete with the Honda CR-V, Subaru Forester, Nissan X-Trail, Peugeot 5008, Skoda Kodiaq, and VW Tayron.

Fun fact: Suzuki also sells a completely different Across in the Seychelles: a smaller Maruti Suzuki Victoris rebadge, sharing little beyond the name. One Across clearly wasn’t enough.
