2026 Skoda Slavia Gets New Lights, AI Assistant And 150-HP Engine

Skoda refreshes the Slavia nearly five years after the sedan first arrives in India. The update brings a sharper look, extra technology, and a few new comfort features while keeping the car’s practical nature.
The front receives a redesigned grille, slimmer headlights, a sportier bumper, fresh fog lights and a wider chrome accent. New alloy wheels freshen the profile, while the rear gets updated taillights with sequential indicators and a “SKODA” badge strip across the trunk.

The 2026 Skoda Slavia's cabin gains a 10.1-inch infotainment display with an AI Companion from Google Cloud. It understands Indian English accents and lets drivers control music, calls, and climate settings with their voice. A larger 10.25-inch digital instrument panel sits ahead of the driver, while new interior colors and a rear-seat massage function add extra comfort.

The Slavia continues with 1.0- and 1.5-liter TSI engines. The 1.0-liter unit produces 113 hp and 131 lb-ft and comes with either a six-speed manual or new eight-speed automatic. The 1.5-liter delivers 148 hp and 184 lb-ft through a seven-speed DSG, while rear disc brakes now replace the previous drums. Skoda sells the Slavia mainly in India and also exports it to markets across Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
